Who we are
FarStudio is an independent game studio. This policy covers this website and the games FarStudio publishes. If you have any question about it, write to hello@farstudios.dev.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not ask you for any personal data. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for a short time to keep the site secure and running.
Game trailers are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; from then on, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Our games
Our games are designed to work with as little data as possible. What each game collects, if anything, is listed in its own section below. When you buy or download a game through the App Store, Google Play or Steam, that store processes your account and payment data under its own policy; we do not receive your payment details.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, and to object to how it is used. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@farstudios.dev. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
Crime Sudoku
Progress. Crime Sudoku saves your progress and settings on your device and, on Apple devices, in your own iCloud account so you can continue on another device. We cannot see or access your iCloud data.
Ads. The free version shows ads served through Unity LevelPlay, with Unity Ads as the ad network. To show and measure ads, Unity may use your device's advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address and information about the ads you see. Ads are only personalized if you allow it; you can change this at any time with the "Personalized ads" setting in Options > General, and on iPhone through Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Unity handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Gameplay statistics. Crime Sudoku uses Unity Analytics to understand how the game is played and to find and fix problems. It collects a random player ID created by Unity, your platform, the game version, your country, how you interact with the game (for example, levels started and finished and features used) and diagnostic data such as crashes and performance. This data is not linked to your name or email and is not used for advertising. Statistics are only sent if you agree. You can turn them off at any time with the "Share gameplay statistics" setting in Options > General; turning them off also asks Unity to delete the data already collected.
Achievements. On Apple devices, achievements use Game Center. Game Center is run by Apple under your Apple ID and Apple's privacy policy; we only send which achievements you unlock and do not receive your Game Center profile details.
Purchases. "Remove ads" is an in-app purchase handled by the App Store or Google Play. We only receive confirmation that the purchase exists, never your payment details. Once ads are removed, no more ad requests are made.
Crime Sudoku does not ask you to create an account. Deleting the game removes the data stored on your device; to delete the iCloud copy, go to Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage storage.
